After a successful year of pilots in urban slums, we’re ready to plant more trees where they’re needed most.
Starting in Bwaise slum, our green team has identified ten spots for trees and shrubs to boost soil quality, food security, and climate resilience.
We need ten sponsors to give these saplings a strong start.
Sponsor a Food Forest tree and two shrubs for $60.
Your support covers:
- A tree sapling (mango, avocado, or guava)
- Two accompanying shrubs (citronella and rosemary) for water retention, soil health and medicinal benefits
- A Green Guardian to care for the tree and help community stewards
- Compost, watering, maintenance for one year
- Clearing and fencing to protect the tree
